THE NEW FRAGRANCE: A JOURNEY TO PANAMA WITH MAGNETIC AMBER
Smooth. Captivating. Utterly delectable… With Magnetic Amber, the Grasse-born Master Perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni, who also created the feminine line of BEYOND The Collection, takes us on an olfactory odyssey into a land of fascinating contrasts inspired by Panama’s exotic treasure: white amber.
“Whenever I work on a project for Bentley, some words immediately come to my mind, which are very important when working on this collection: luxury, refinement, elegance, use of the finest raw materials in the best quality,” Karine Dubreuil-Sereni explains.
Magnetic Amber opens with an inviting smile as the dazzling light of sunny bergamot from Italy intertwines with aromatic rosemary from Morocco and a zesty green flash of cardamom — “A cold spice that also has hot facets,” the perfumer points out. Mysterious, resinous olibanum adds its citrus-like, warm, softly woody tones to the fresh accords, rounding off this enticing aroma.
Once the fragrance hits the nose, it unfolds like a symphony, revealing the seductive warmth of its heart abounding with two olfactive jewels native to South America: sensual, smoky vanilla (for Magnetic Amber, it was sourced in Madagascar) and tonka bean with its rich almond and tobacco notes.
These delectable gourmet scents effortlessly meld into the smooth white amber that gives its name to this exceptional fragrance. “The note comes from Ambroxan, a raw material yielded by clary sage, and therefore, comes from nature,” Karine Dubreuil-Sereni explains. Salty and smooth, conjuring driftwood, sun-warmed skin and amber, it is almost an addictive perfume in itself… The key to the scent’s unique magnetism.
A MAJESTIC FLACON REFLECTING THE LUXURY CODES OF THE MARQUE
Drawing on the expertise of Bentley Motors’ design studio, the flacon and packaging of Bentley BEYOND The Collection uphold the same exacting standards and attention to detail as the marque’s motorcars.
Created in collaboration with the designers of Bentley Motors, the majestic faceted flacon is inspired by the signature cut-crystal glass headlights of the Continental GT. The stability of the heavy 400-gram bottle is ensured by a thick yet ever-elegant glass base. The iconic “Winged B” logo is engraved on the silver metal shoulders of the flacon, honouring Bentley’s eminence and eternal charisma.
Evoking emotion and capturing the scent’s enigmatic essence, the alluring amber hue of the new fragrance is a reflection of its intriguing, delicious and addictive soul — a royal olfactory journey through Central and South America’s best-kept secrets: smoky rums, sweet woods and luscious petals.
For the first time with Magnetic Amber, the Collection introduces a new, eco-friendly, organic material on the bottle as a homage to the natural ingredients used in the fragrance. Featured in the ring on the bottle’s cap and the plate of the beige coffret that bears the “Winged B” logo and the Collection’s name, this adds a touch of eco-conscious elegance to the overall aesthetic.
